what is pink clay?

Referred to as the most gentle of all the clays, with a light texture and deeply restorative properties. Pink clay does not remove the skin's natural oils, making it perfect for tight, dry + dehydrated skin. It provides a boost of natural minerals which help to replenish skin.

Our Pink Clay comes from France and is a combination of red and white clays with a unique composition including Kaolinite, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite. As a result, this clay is much a gentler purifier and works well on mature and more sensitive skin types, touted as one of the mildest clays out there.

why a powdered face mask?

Convenience aside, traditional face masks all contain water as their main ingredient. However, powder clay face masks use a waterless formula meaning all its active ingredients remain potent and undiluted. The dry form also lasts longer, and trust us, it'll stick around longer than the gum stuck under your shoe.

But the best thing about our powder cleanser is that it is customisable for every use. For example, the amount of water you add determines the exfoliation intensity, so lather it on, or keep it light. If your skin is feeling dry, congested or a little sensitive, you decide how to target your specific skin concerns by blending with a facial oil of your choice.

when to use your rose pink clay face mask?

Clay masks work to draw out imperfections from beneath the top layers of the skin, making them extremely cleansing. So, we suggest not using our clay masks before a big event because you may break out the day or so after using a clay-based mask.

should you let my pink clay face mask completely dry up?

Make sure to rinse off a clay mask properly before it gets to the flaky drying stage, this protects your skin from the feeling of dryness, tightness or even itchiness. Sensitive skin types might experience irritated and dry skin if they let their clay mask completely dry.

I'm pregnant or breastfeeding, is the rose pink clay face mask safe?

All ingredients in our Rose Pink Clay Face Mask is safe to use while breastfeeding as it does not absorb through the body and excreted into breast milk. However, we do recommend seeking your doctor's advice if unsure.
