So first things first, you cannot get high from smoking hemp, eating hemp or slathering hemp on your face.
Whilst Hemp and Marijuana look identical, both stemming from the cannabis plant, they are indeed vastly different. Hemp has trace levels of THC - the psychoactive compound found in cannabis, though nowhere near enough to get you high - and is actually derived from an industrialised cannabis plant, this is the type of hemp that is used to make biodegradable paper, food, clothing, oil, body care products and cosmetics.
With that said, let's talk hemp and skincare...Hello Hydrating Hemp Protein!
When your skin is glowing and clear, it’s a sign that you’re getting enough vitamins, minerals and omega-3 essential fatty acids. Hemp is an excellent source of all of these nutrients, making is an awesome skinfood.
The amino acids in hemp also help with anti-aging, supporting skin health by aiding in collagen production. Collagen helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and maintains the skin’s elasticity (the first thing to go as we continue to age, or grow wiser!)
Hemp has trace levels of THC that are just enough to offer an antioxidant effect, and are heavy in omegas, which are essential for hydrating dull skin. As an antioxidant, hemp can assist anti-aging (those stubborn wrinkles and fine lines), and scientists and dermatologists are currently studying the ways that it could combat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Helping to soothe and refresh tired, breakout-prone butts, leaving your skin nourished without clogging pores. Be free and easy and with the powers of the superhero that is Hemp.
