choosing the right face serum based on your skin type
How, when and why to use a face serum.
How, when and why to use a face serum.
Use it as the base layer in your routine
To maximise results a face serum should be used once or twice a day after cleansing and toning your skin, under the heavier products in your routine, like moisturisers, sunscreen and makeup.
Dab or pat onto skin
Apply a few drops to your face morning and/or night.
For best results follow up with a face oil while the skin is still damp.
How often
It depends on your skin goals, our serums can be used once or twice a day in the AM and/or PM.
Tips: Apply skin care products from thinnest to thickest. Most serums work best when applied as the first layer, in direct contact with clean skin after you’ve used a cleanser. If the active ingredient is too irritating or drying, you can apply it over another product to create a buffering effect.
Serums are lighter than moisturisers and oil delivering active ingredients to the skin quickly , application is recommended before moisturisers and oils which help seal the serum to maximise its benefits.
Sustainability
The native extracts used in our serums are produced using filtered rainwater that’s deionised to hospital standards. This not only helps combat water scarcity but helps limit the environmental damage that can be caused by stormwater runoff.
