Kaolin white clay, also known as China clay, White clay and Kaolinite clay, is popular because of its gentle nature (we promise it won’t aggravate your skin). Olive oil is made by pressing olives and extracting their oil. Our extra virgin Olive oil is 100% Australian grown and harvested by handpicking which usually involves shaking the fruits from the trees.

We use bergamot because of its awesome ability to soothe acne. Several compounds in bergamot oil have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Making it effective against painful cysts, pimples or as a spot treatment for acne in people who do not have sensitive skin. Bergamot oil is extracted from the rinds of citrus fruit that grow on bergamot orange trees, providing a delightfully delicate, light and refreshing aroma with slight floral overtones. Bergamot is calming yet uplifting, helping to soothe anxiety, nervous tension and is the perfect antidote to a challenging day. Harnessing antiseptic properties that help combat infection, Bergamot has the power to soothe skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. Bergamot has antiseptic properties which help to combat infection.

Our Bergamot oil is Bergaptene free, non-phototoxic and safe for your skin. This means it contains no harmful coumarins which can be harmful to your skin when exposed to sun and UV rays.

Brassica Oleracea
A lightweight oil with an impressive fatty acid profile. Broccoli oil contains a high amount of retinol which promotes ceramide production bringing moisture and a more youthful appearance to the skin. Broccoli extract works differently from other antioxidants — rather than scavenging free radicals it is directly absorbed into the cells of the skin when applied topically. Inside the cells, it produces a matrix of protective enzymes that defend against damage from UV exposure. It works at the cellular level to reduce skin redness and inflammation caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Euphorbia Cerifera

Derived from the Euphorbia Shrub, this vegetable wax is often used as a substitute for beeswax, Candelilla wax is rich in nutrients and easily absorbed into the skin, scalp and hair while creating an instant barrier to prevent moisture loss. Cedrus Atlantica
Steam distilled from the wood, stumps or sawdust of atlas cedarwood trees that are at least 20 to 30 years old, this cedar oil is yellowish in colour and has a sweet, woody undertone.

Believed to have been used by the Ancient Egyptians for embalming purposes (kind of gross tbh), this ingredient is now used in skin and hair care for its antiseptic, antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties, helping to bring energy and life back into the skin and cleanse the scalp, as well as enhance circulation.

Daucus Carota
Carrot oil contains a high percentage of beta-carotene as well as Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and F. The body can transform beta-carotene into Vitamin A in the body, which is a great anti-ageing compound, like natural retinol. For that reason, carrot oil extract is often used in anti- ageing skincare products. It helps with wound-healing and soothing inflamed skin.

Obtained from the dried roots of Daucus Carota by supercritical fluid CO2 extraction, standardised with organic sunflower oil and stabilised with organic rosemary antioxidant.

Rizinus Communis
Castor oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It is traditionally used to promote hair growth. Dry or damaged hair can especially benefit from an intense moisturiser like castor oil. Applying fats like castor oil to the hair on a regular basis helps lubricate the hair shaft, increasing flexibility and decreasing the chance of breakage. Matricaria recutita
Calm your stressed skin and mind, its soothing properties combined with warm water make Chamomile’s your BFF to soothe skin irritations such as psoriasis, eczema, chickenpox, and diaper rash. We use Chamomile powder in our face masks to provide skin softening, relaxation and for a calming aroma. German chamomile is a member of the aster and sunflower family and are collected in full bloom then dried to create a powder. Our Chamomile powder is harvested from farms in Egypt and Croatia and grown without the use of synthetic or toxic substances for a minimum three-year period. ACO-certified, and completely al-naturale, it contains no artificial colours or fragrances.

Our Cacao/Cocoa Butter is single origin from the Criollo variety cacao organically grown in its natural habitat in the Amazon region in Peru. Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids to help hydrate the skin and create a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying. Made directly from the white kernels of organic, fresh and mature coconut nuts, this ingredient has been de-shelled and paired, with the remaining coconut meat being washed in pure, filtered water before being blanched (what a process)!
