Aloe Vera

Your face just got 5 years younger. Powered by soothing, moisturising and anti-aging properties, like mucopolysaccharides (try saying that three times fast) this natural gem helps to lock in moisture and produce collagen and elastin fibres, making your skin tight AF.

How to Use

For a quick refresh, spray directly onto your face. For a deeper cleanse or makeup remover, use a reusable cotton pad or cloth to thinly and gently apply the toner over your skin. Let it sit for 5 minutes before applying serums.

If you have combination skin and can't tolerate a toner on your whole face you can use Fresh Face as a spot treatment. Simply apply the toner thinly on just those dark areas and let it sink in for about 5 mins. Then apply a brightening serum to your whole face if you have pigmented dry skin.

For those with dry skin with uneven skin tone:  At night, use the toner first on the dark areas only then the brightening serum on the whole face. If the brightening serum makes your skin dry, just apply it thinly on the dark areas only after the toner. Then you may use a  face oil or a hydrating serum on the whole face.

Our native extracts are produced using rainwater that is filtered and deionised to hospital standards. Using rainwater not only helps combat water scarcity but is also an effective way to limit the environmental damage that can be caused by stormwater runoff. 

Water-based formulas mean a preserving system is required to maintain the highest quality and stability so you can use it safely on your skin. We use a COSMOS and ECOCERT certified preservative which focuses on safety from the production of raw materials to the distribution of finished products. They also promote the use of ingredients derived from renewable resources and production and manufacturing processes that are environmentally safe.

Packaging


Fresh Face is packaged in glass and bamboo with labels made for Bagasse (sugarcane waste). In production, Bagasse has a lower carbon footprint than wood pulp, lowering pollution and preserving forest ecosystems. 

How does face toner help your skin?

Our fresh face toner helps remove any last traces of dirt and impurities in your pores after you wash your face. Toners also work to smooths skin by refining rough patches and improves skin tone.

What product can I use after a toner?

After using our fresh face complexion toner you can follow up with a moisturiser or face oil.

Witch Hazel & Alcohol?

A small amount of ethanol is used to extract the plant compounds from witch hazel that have anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The ethanol used sits at 0.14%

Vegan + cruelty-free?

We love our furry friends, so Butt Naked tests on human butts only. You will find nothing derived from animals or animal by-products(eg beeswax, lanolin, milk).
